Single Mothers By Choice (“SMC”) A real organization for women who choose not to “shack up” or get “knocked up” by a man. For women who want to have their pick of the genetic crop without having to work on a relationship, provide a two-parent household family or believe all you need are women. They want they pick of the litter without cleaning up the litter box. SMC is an organization for women who want it all by themselves.
Their website states that “Single motherhood is ideally for the woman who feels she has much to give a child and who has adequate emotional and financial resources to support herself and her child. Their women include thinkers, tryers, and mothers. More than half of our members are "thinkers" (as we call women who are considering single motherhood) or "tryers" (women trying to conceive or adopt), and our organization provides a unique support network for women who are going through these very stressful and important stages.”
Hey, I’d give you their website, but I am not a proponent of theirs. So look it up for yourself if you are such a thinker or tryer.
Post Script: Hillary Clinton said that it takes a village to raise a child; but I say that a mommy and daddy is a fine start!
